Laser Light Module: LLM 01
The LLM01 is the world’s most advanced multi function small arms weapon light and targeting system. The LLM01 has been designed to meet the mission requirements of military units, from the frontline Infantryman to the special operations warrior. The light module combines unsurpassed performance with unmatched flexibility. The LLM01 is currently in service in nearly all European Infantry armies. The LLM 01 laser light module, which has been used to equip the infantry as part of the German “Infanterist der Zukunft” (German Infantry of the Future) project, supports and facilitates the latest advances in target acquisition and marking.
More than 85,000 Laser Light Modules have been manufactured and delivered to a wide variety of customers over the last 8 years and are available in various configurations. The LLM 01 is fully compliant to NATO standards with several NATO stock numbers (NSN), which may vary depending on the configuration.
The LLM 01 is equipped with several sources of illumination:
• A halogen, “white-light” light for close-range illumination at night
• IR close-field illumination from a diode source for the illumination of close areas for the target illumination of soldiers equipped with night vision goggles
• An IR targeting laser, which can mark targets under twilight conditions or in complete darkness, even at long range
• A red point laser light marker with a range of over 20 meters during daylight and over 200 meters at night
• The LLM 01’s IR illumination capabilities exceed 200 meters by removal of the “white light lamp” and installing the “Illuminator far” laser
The LLM 01 only 86 x 46 x 58mm and weighs, less than 170 grams without the adapter and mounts. It has a freely programmable microprocessor for the control of all functions. There are tactile enhanced buttons on the right, left and the rear of the unit, which when depressed allows the soldier to activate the pre-programmed function. If required, a trigger cable can also activate the laser. The device fulfils all environmental requirements and is fully waterproof to 30 meters.
With its five functions, low weight and “quick mounting” capability, the LLM 01 can be mounted on virtually all small arms and handguns using a unique adapter system. The use of the LLM 01 by numerous police and military special operations units is testament to the very high reliability and performance of the LLM 01.
Laser Module S: LM-S
The LM-S is a compact small arms weapons laser aiming device. The LM-S can be configured with red laser, IR laser or IR illuminator options, and a variety of switches/remote cables, weapon mounts and filters are available for the LM-S.
Laser Light Module: LLM-PI
The LLM-PI is a laser light module with an integrated target laser as well as infrared and visual spectrum illumination functions. The LLM-PI is specially designed for pistols.
Integrated in the LLM-PI are a target laser module, used for marking and aiming at targets, and a Power LED, used for illuminating targets and target areas. In “torch” mode, the LED can be kept switched on indefinitely, or operated in “flash” mode; in this mode, the LED switches on and off in rapid succession, significantly enhancing the dazzle effect.
Laser Module Double-Beam: LM-D
Compact, low-profile, powerful and reliable, the LM-D is specifically designed for solutions with separate visual illuminators. The LM-D features a red light laser aimer, IR laser aimer, and IR short range illuminator.
Laser Light Module R: LLM-R
The LLM-R is a powerful, reliable and easy to operate aiming and illuminating device. The LLM-R target marker and target illuminator operate in the visible and infrared spectrums. The LLM-R features a high-intensity white light lamp, and red light laser marker or
infrared laser marker.
FELVIS 40mm Fire Control System
The FeLVis 40mm FCU is one of the most advanced Fire Control Units for use with low velocity 40mm underslung (or dedicated) weapon systems. The FeLVis features:
• An integrated laser range finder (up to 800m range)
• Sensors for measuring barometric pressure, air temperature and line of sight incline to target
• Ballistic computer with a range of ammunition types available, as well as entry of new ballistic tables
• Rapid readjustment of aim point for weapon super-elevation prior to firing
• IR laser target laser marker
